This is the agreement between you and VEEAA Pvt Ltd for using Kiyevun. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to it.
1. What Kiyevun is
Kiyevun is software for teachers, tuition centres, parents and students in the Maldives. It does two things. It runs classes: schedules, attendance, homework and fees. And it provides exam preparation material for students.
We are not a school and we do not teach. Teaching, and the relationship between a teacher and a family, is between them. We provide the software they use to keep track of it.
2. Accounts
- Students can sign up themselves. It is free and it is the only account you can create without an invitation.
- Parentsjoin by invitation from their child's teacher. One login covers the whole family, including children at different centres.
- Teachers apply, and we review every application before a profile is shown publicly to students and parents. We may decline one.
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has it. Do not create an account pretending to be someone else, or for a child who is not yours to enrol.
3. Children
Students are minors. A teacher or centre adding a student is confirming they have the standing to do so through their relationship with that family. How we protect that information is set out in full on the Privacy page, and it is worth reading before you add a child.
4. Fees and payments
- Tuition fees belong to the teacher or centre. Kiyevun records and confirms them; it does not hold them and cannot refund them.
- Teachers and centres pay us MVR 250 per teacher per month after a 15-day free trial.
- We never ask for card or bank credentials in the app. You pay in your own banking app. If anything inside Kiyevun ever asks you to type a card number, it is not us. Tell us.

5. What you may not do
- Use the app to reach a child you have no relationship with.
- Share, resell or republish material from the Study section. It is provided for a student's own study.
- Try to reach data belonging to another family, teacher or centre.
- Upload anything unlawful, or anything that puts a child at risk.
- Automate or scrape the service in a way that degrades it for others.
We may suspend an account that does these things. Where a child's safety is involved we will act first and discuss afterwards.
6. Your content
What you put into Kiyevunstays yours: your students, your classes, your notes, your files. We do not sell it, and we do not use a child's data to advertise anything. We store and process it in order to run the service for you, and for nothing else.
A centre can export its own data at any time without asking us. If you leave, take it with you.
7. Study material
The notes, practice questions and study plans in Kiyevun are written for it. They are aids, not a syllabus and not a guarantee. Exam boards set the exams; we do not, and we cannot promise a result.
Always confirm exam dates with your school. Dates in the app are there to build a plan around and can change.
8. Availability
We try to keep Kiyevun running and will not always succeed. There will be maintenance, and occasionally faults. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for a class you could not mark on a day the app was down. Attendance can be entered later.
9. Liability
Kiyevun is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, VEEAA Pvt Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where we are liable, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which for most students and parents is nothing, because they pay us nothing.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Ending it
You can stop using Kiyevun whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account. We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we close yours without cause, we will refund anything you have paid for time you did not get.
11. Changes
We will update this page as the product changes. The date at the top says when it last changed. Material changes will be told to you in the app rather than left here to be discovered.
12. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives.
