Why we built Kiyevun

The story

Most study material online was written for another country. The syllabus codes are close but not yours. The prices are in dollars. The plan is missing entirely.

Kiyevun starts from the exams Maldivian students actually sit. The catalogue is checked against the real exam timetables. Your study plan is built backwards from your own exam dates.

The notes are written to be read, not skimmed. Every topic says what you must be able to do. Every question has a worked answer.

What we are trying to do

• A plan and a fair start, free for every student

  The study plan built from your real exam dates, the timetable and the Dhivehi glossary are free to anyone who signs up, at every level. The first unit of every subject is free, up to 5 topics of it and each one in full. So nobody pays for notes they have not been able to judge. Study Pass opens the rest and is what pays for writing it.

• Built for the phone you have

  Kiyevun works on an ordinary phone with unreliable data. Pages are light. The app installs from the browser and opens like any other app.

• One honest price

  Study Pass is one flat monthly price. There is nothing extra to unlock inside. If you stop paying you keep your account and your plan.

• Dhivehi first, not Dhivehi later

  The app can be read in Dhivehi, right to left. That is not a translation added at the end. It changes how the screens are built.

What we will not do

• Sell anyone's data, or use a child's information to advertise anything.
• Show one student another student's marks or attempts.
• Ask anyone to type a card number into the app.
• Charge for the Dhivehi glossary or your study plan.

Where we are

Kiyevun is young and improves every week. If something is wrong, missing or simply annoying, tell us. That is how most of what is here got made.
