Kiyevun is software operated by VEEAA Pvt Ltd. Money moves through it in two very different ways, and only one of them is ours. This page explains both, starting with the one most people are asking about.
1. Tuition fees you pay a teacher or centre
These are not our money and we cannot refund them. When you pay a tuition fee, the payment goes to the teacher or the centre. Kiyevun records the invoice, notes that you said you paid, and issues the receipt once the centre confirms it. We never hold the fee.
So if you want a refund on a tuition fee, whether a class your child did not attend, a month they stopped going, or an amount you think is wrong, ask the teacher or the centre directly. They set their own terms and they decide. Their contact details are on the invoice, and you can message them from the fee screen in the app.
What we can do is show you exactly what was invoiced and what was received. Every confirmed payment produces a receipt you can open, keep and print. If your record and theirs disagree, that receipt is the evidence.
2. The subscription a teacher or centre pays us
Teachers and tuition centres pay VEEAA Pvt Ltd MVR 250 per teacher per month to use Kiyevun. This is our money, so this is the part we can refund.
- The first 15 days are free. Nothing is charged during the trial and no card is stored. If it is not for you, stop before the trial ends and you owe nothing.
- It is billed monthly, not yearly. There is no long contract to get out of. Stop paying and the subscription simply lapses at the end of the month you have paid for.
- A month already used is not refunded. If you decide halfway through a month, you keep the rest of that month and are not billed again.
- We refund our own mistakes in full. If we billed you twice, billed you for a teacher who was not using the app, or charged you during your trial, tell us and we will return it.
Your data stays yours either way. A lapsed subscription does not delete your classes, students or records, and you can export your students, classes, attendance and fees to a spreadsheet at any time from the school console.
3. Study Pass
Study Pass is the student subscription. It unlocks mock exams, timed papers and target tests.
The free part stays free whatever happens.Notes, the Dhivehi glossary, practice questions and the Qur'an section are free for every student at every level, and a Study Pass that lapses never takes them away. You do not lose access to study material by not paying.
If a Pass was bought by mistake, or a student was charged after cancelling, ask us and we will refund it. If a Pass has been used for a month, that month is not refunded.
4. How to ask
Email info@kiyevun.com with the reference code from the invoice or receipt. That code is the fastest way for us to find the exact payment.
We aim to answer within three working days. Where a refund is due, it goes back the way it came.
5. If something here is unclear
